Gordon Adams is Director of Security Policy Studies at the Elliott School of International Affairs, The George Washington University. From 1993 to 1997, he served as the chief national security budget officer for the Clinton White House, as Associate Director for National Security and International Affairs at the Office of Management and Budget. He has written numberous studies of defense budgeting and defense policy, as well as of transatlantic defense relations and the defense industry. He is currently working on a study of national security budget across the government, including defense, foreign affairs, intelligence and homeland security, to be published by Routledge Press.
