John Kline thinking of asking whether the administration's conditions based timetable emboldens the Taliban, or will somehow allow them to lie in wait and plan, please read Matt Duss's post on Wonk Room, and then ask a different, more serious question that doesn't waste everyone's time.

Hi,
Obama during the speech was specific that 2011 was a solid re-evaluation point. I'm kinda glad the media isn't reporting on that part because I don't think he should have said that part. I think as you point out that Karzai needs to believe that either he gets his shit together or he's going to be killed sometime in 2012 by the Taliban.
