Haha irony indeed: elections in Burma are extremely rare, because Burma's government is essentially a military dictatorship, known as the State Peace and Development Council (SPDC), which is basically made up of military heads. Existing opposition party are illegal and banned. Election? What election? :)

Hi,
It is very readable, and a great introduction to how “normal” life has been impacted by military rule. Not so much statistics (like a lot of books on Burma), but more nuanced and rich in its description of what is happening on the ground throughout Burma.

Thank you for your sharing! I like i very much!

Great comments! You are so nice, man! You never know how much i like'em!

Yes, that's cool. The device is amazing! Waiting for your next one!
