Spending Money the Conservative Way
Posted by Ilan Goldenberg
I find it quite ironic that while conservatives are all about cutting spending at home, they now claim that one of the keys to good governance in Iraq is increased government spending. (Even Mike O'Hanlon now thinks that this is an important benchmark). I guess we shouldn't worry about things like this:
Jobless men pay $500 bribes to join the police. Families build houses illegally on government land, carwashes steal water from public pipes, and nearly everything the government buys or sells can now be found on the black market.
So basically. Insuring poor and middle income children in the United States = government waste. Stealing billions of dollars from the Iraqi government = progress in the "war on terror".
US Army recruits aren't paying bribes--some new cannon fodder-ites will now receive $40K if they complete five years of service "defending freedom". So, since the US Army accepts foreign recruits, let's take Iraqi recruits for $500. Turn a loss into a gain. The 92,000 increase planned for the army and marines will cost $100b in initial costs and $15b a year--we could eliminate a large portion of these costs by accepting bribe-paying Iraqis. After we take all the available Iraqis it'll be time to invade another country and get some more. Never mind the peace dividend, we've found the war dividend, and with the proceeds we can give some kids health care. Of course it means killing some kids in other countries but hey, stuff happens.

I am with farmer in Texas on this one. Iraq has had plenty of time to take responsibility for themselves and they militantly refuse to do so. If they want freedom, they need to step up and create it.Any continued involvement on our part should require a set of commitments with deadlines. If they are not met, then we pull out as the Iraqis have not held to their side of the bargain.

I suppose it is thethickness of Replica Jacques Lemans that insulates the movement. The luminosity of tReplica Jaeger LeCoultre is great; large hands and markers ensure plenty of room for luminous paint, and I seldom found myself wishing the Holotype glowed more brightly. The 12 clock arrow on the bezel is also painted and glows like a torch,a nice Replica Levis for timing events in less than ideal light.Esthetically, the yellow dial is so much better then I had guesed it would be.I usually stick to black dials on most of my Replica Longines, but I thought I would give the yellow dial a try and I am very glad I did.It is bright and seems to be a semi gloss that reflects just enough light that it stands out from the PVD case; The bracelet Replica Mont Blanc the case in every way.It is thick, solid, quiet, smooth, and didn't pull a single hair from my wrist. All of the links are screwed together so sizing the bracelet is Replica Movado.A quick word of warning: the screws do not seem especially tight from the factory so I recommend sizing he bracelet then tightening each link completely (my failure to do so cost me a tiny screw). You might even consider a little Loctite 242 (Replica Omega). The fold over clasp has a push button release, and has a very secure fliplock. The end links are solid and secured by 24mm screws. The packaging on the Holotype is far more then one would expect. My unit shipped in at tan colored faux leather travel case that houses the watch, warranty card, manual, tools, rubber strap, and polishing cloth.

Crime Sinister Harper is at it again and the CONTEMPT supporters have their heads even further up where the sun don't shine. About the same distance as the FIB-LIBS stick their heads when their corruption scandals are going on. Wake up and elect a truly honest party and leader. Jack Layton
